May 20 I love Beavers Bend by MT Dallas

Nosotros have been coming to Beavers Curve Country Park for years. We loved information technology the first time nosotros went and take ever since. The cabins are swell, the people are wonderful and helpful. Love the Eagles and other wildlife. Great place to relax or be active.

Nosotros camped at Fern camp ground. Everything was great except the bathroom was absolutely unclean. Daily ran out of toilet paper around 1pm. Did bring more tardily in the afternoon. Bath filthy 24/vii.

Simply pay for ane dark to see if you can take the intensity of the new fix of horns at the spillway. Nosotros had to leave early and simply got a pelting check.

My ii brothers and my dad and I have been to bearers bend iii times. We have been harrased by game wardens and the people at tmountain fork are disrespectful and rude. The people at the flyshop are aholes. This has been the worst experience ever. Instead of a alert the park ranger gave my father and my 2 brothers a ticket for fishing on the bridge on our outset day. I had to leave the area considering he tried to pick a fight with me. My family came from Texas Missouri and kansas for our annually fishing trip and have to go to court on our concluding day here on vacation. Nosotros will never come back to Oklahoma! Horrible and rude people to out of towners. Absolutely disgusted. Beavers bend park avert coming here. Worst experience in my life

The wife and I went for 2 days and it was awesome. Squeamish, friendly staff, adept food at skilful prices at the eating house, good hiking trails, plenty to see and exercise. We will definitely be returning hither over and over. Park is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this to people who love the outdoors. We love this identify!

The park was very clean, the hiking trails were pretty well marked in places and the scenic views were all one-of-a kind. Nosotros enjoyed our stay and thank Oklahoma for their hospitality.

This is past far the best beast viewing area nosotros have been to. Deer abound in the morning time and lots of other guys at night. We got to see an eagle during late summer fishing in late afternoon. Awesome This park is groovy and will be back soon. Get some onion rings at the restaurant

Nosotros went to Beavers Bend State Park for our family holiday in August of 2010 and our kids (ages 5, 3 and 5mos) had a slap-up time. There are fashion more than copse than Dallas surface area where we alive. And they loved wading in the lake and various rivers. However, we were very disappointed in the hiking trails. They were poorly marked and one trail was completely washed out in the place where it was supposed to cantankerous the river. We withal had a proficient time walking along the river, only information technology was really frustrating.

When we chosen to reserve our cabin nosotros were told that the cabins cannot be reserved that they are first come first served. Great scenery, Line-fishing was good, Kayak was great. Good Bike trails, lots of Wild life, park was proceed very clean. Water was a piffling high at the Marina just it did not carp us kayaking. Honey the ice cream cart. Overall rating for the amenities four, for the park itself 8+. Merely we won?t be back. Cost is high for look you lot get.

We went for the starting time time for the new year's day with my sis, who has been going for years. Cabins are clean and comfortable and the scenery is awesome! Definitely going to make it an anual tradition, plus we may get at other times of the year as well. Their Customer Service is first-class too. I left my make up pocketbook full of brand new stuff. They found information technology and mailed it back to me in Dallas. Save me hundreds of dollars of replacement makeup and pare care!

Nosotros live most Dallas and this is our favorite identify to go if nosotros need to just get away, even for a one-day trip. Our favorite things to practise are to hike, kayak, and just drive around to run across the scenery. Kayaking is virtually $12 or $15 for as long every bit you want, equally long as you are back earlier the sun goes down. The little restaurant inside the park has bully food and low prices. If you prefer to cook or picnic, there is a big grocery store just due south of the park. There are ever different things to meet in the footling nature center. One time we saw a litter of baby orphaned possums.

if y'all can get a river front motel in the wintertime your take a chance of eagle sightings are very good. the eagles love to fish when the alert horn sounds and the dam flood gates open up. really absurd.

My family has been coming up to Broken Bow atleast half-dozen times a yr (Dallas) the drive is worth it, reminds me of the Rockies - Great camping, tons of activities to do and the angling is beyond crawly. The Rangers are super nice and protect their Park. And the ladies in the main office are similar family.

July 26 Pet Owners Should Know New Rules by Pet Owner

Nosotros take been vacationing at Beavers Bend for years and have brought our pocket-size house dog every time. Recently we rented a cabin and drove iii hours to arrive at the check in fourth dimension of 3:00 PM. For the third or fourth fourth dimension in a row our cabin was non ready plus we learned that the cabin we were assigned would non allow pets. The website still said pets welcome in all cabins and no ane told us when we reserved that in that location had been a policy change. They offered us the cabin for an boosted fee but past that fourth dimension we were frustrated with the lack of arrangement and how it was handled. They did return our eolith but then we drove back domicile for iii more hours. Our vacation was ruined. You should know that pets are no longer accustomed in all cabins!!! In addition, if the cabins are non going to be set up by 3:00 PM because of tardily checkouts, charge the people who exercise non leave on time so those of us arriving have our cabins on time.

The camp sites are crowded and closer together than other state parks. The bathroom and showers were filthy and were never cleaned in our 3 day stay. The quiet fourth dimension was not enforced and could not locate a ranger to help.

My family and I have been vacationing at Broken Bow for over 30 years. Always stay in the Stevens Gap surface area. No place on earth as beautiful as this!!! Keen camping and angling. The park rangers e'er accept great intendance of the campers.

Nosotros have visited BB the last 2 years and are already planning our next trip! We were referred by friends and take now referred others who are planning their visits now! Love the cabins, hiking, train depot area, and merely nigh everything almost the park! Beautiful lake area and extremely well kept!

Nosotros drive from Petty Stone, Arkansas virtually every year to spend Halloween at the park. The haunted train ride, the nature center party with its haunted house, the pumpkin carving, the trail rides, the great food at the restaurant - all the events and activities are just wonderful!
